Abstract
We had tested the effect of amino propane sulfonic acid(APSA) on the human skin with non-invasive technique. It was tested with four parameters that were hydration, elasticity, color and skin wrinkles.
In vitro culture systems, APSA stimulated the proliferation of fibroblasts bolt it didn't stimulate that of keratinocyte. Also we obtained the similar effects in the raft culture method. So we concluded that APSA affected the dermal region than the epidermal region. In clinical tests, APSA changed the skin color, pbiomechanical properties(especially elasticity) and reduced skin wrinkles of the volunteers.
And we could get the better results of skin wrinkle improvement by use of Skin Visiometer than Silflo Image analysis systems.

Abstract
A fine oil -in-water (O/W) emulsion using non-aqueous emulsification technique was developed. And the behaviors of POE(25)octyldodecyl ether in non-aqueous polyol/oil systems were studied by observing the surface tension, interfacial tension, turbidity and transition temperature. It was found that POE(25)octyldodecy1 ether hardly existed as the micelle in the non-aqueous polyol system while, in water, it formed micelles very easily. So, when a polyol, like glycerine in which POE(25)octyldodecyl ether has a poor solubility, was added, POE(25)octyldodecyl ether moved to the surface. After saturated at surface, POE(25)octyldodecyl ether began to precitate. The mean particle size of the final emulsion was 230nm. Also, the emulsion system was stable at 0°C, 25°C, 40°C, 50 °C and freeze-thaw cycle chamber for a month, while a conventional emulsion system was unstable. It is concluded that, by pertinent combination of polyols, we can improve the adsorption efficiency of surfactant.

Abstract
The liposomes have been developed in many drugs and cosmetics fields.
In this context, it should be mentioned that MLV liposomes can be prepared standing with the main compounds of the intercellular lipids, cholesterol, palmitic acid, cholesteryl ester and lecithin, by swelling reaction.
We report properties of the formation of MLV liposomes with use of the lipid base and Microfluidizer. MLV liposomes formed as multilamellar vesicles(MLV). The effect of the gelation of MLV liposomes have been on swelling reaction which have been mixed lipid with polyol and water phase at high temperature(90±5°C). MLV liposomes have been prepared in incorporating alpha hydroxy acid ligrediens.
Optimum condition of MLV liposomes were passed three times in the microfluidizer, particle size of the vesicles should be within 150-350nm and those confirmed by freeze-fracture electron microscopy.

Molecular cloning of casein gane which is expressed in mammary glands 유선조직(乳線組織)에서 특이적(特異的)으로 발현(發現)되는 카제인 유전자(遺傳子)의 클로닝(I)
The gene for γ-casein, a milk protein, is a member of a family of casein gene which is expressed in mammary glands of the animal during the late gestation and lactation periods binder the influence of various hormones. In order to elucidate tile mechanisms b)'which hormones regulate the coordinate induction of milk protein genes, the mouse γ-casein gene was isolated and characterized. The γ-casein gene was screened from a mouse genomic library constructed in bacteriophage EMBL3 with the γ-casein CDNA used as probe and one clone was obtained. The γ-casein CDNA as probe was partially sequenced and contained ATG start codon and 5'-noncoding region.
The cloned genomic DNA was digested with Sal I restriction enzyme, by which the insert DNA can be isolated from EMBL3 vector. Three DNA bands were observed and the size of DNAs was approximately 28kb, 14kb and 9Kb, respectively Accordingly the size of the insert DNA was calculated with approximately 23Kb. The result of Southern blot analysis, however, showed that the cloned genomic DNA was not hybridized with the synthetic oligonucleotides (40 mer) of cDNA 5'-end region, but it was hybridized with the y -casein CDNA. This means that tile cloned y -casein gene may not contain its promoter region. The γ -casein genomic DNA containing the promoter region has been screening from mouse genomic library with oligonucleotides of CDNA 5'-end region as probe, and twenty-nine clones was obtained.

Abstract
Skin irritations accompany the series of complex, physical and chemical changes. Alternative methods which reflect the biological phenomenon more sensitively are necessary for the purpose of reducing the animal tests and improving the accuracy and reliability. Chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) vascular assay is a in vitro method which utilizes the chorioallantoic membrane of hen's fertilized egg of about 10 days old. Test substances are placed directly onto the surface of the CAM and 1 hour later the CAM vasculature is subjectively evaluated to determine with a chemically related-injurious reponse including the appearance of haemorrage, congestion, coagulation, and so on.
In this research, using the various surfactants, the correlations of CAMVA with in vivo models (intradermal safety test and human primary irritation test) were investigated. And CAMVA closely correlated to intradermal safety test (r=0.89) and human primary irritation test (r=0.90). From the result, it seems that CAMVA can also be used as a method for predicting the skin irritaions.

Abstract
Fragrance oil was encapsulated with β-cyclodextrin and Arabic gum for double Encapsulation to imprve the demerits-cause the skin irritation, allergy and lack of odor fixative-.
Powder fragrance was obtained from the paste phase using the method of spray dry. From the analyses (GC, IR, UV) and sensory tests, it was identified that fragrance was encapsulated in our reservoir.
